Basketball Recap: Sabetha's Loss Ends Six-Game Winning Streak on the Road

On Friday, the Sabetha Bluejays came up short against the St. Marys Bears and fell 65-58. While losing is never fun, the Bluejays can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 118th, while the Bears are ranked 20th).

Sabetha's defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 3-3. As for St. Marys, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sabetha will take on Holton at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Marys, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Perry-Lecompton at 7:30 p.m.
