Basketball Recap: Hanover Takes Down Ranked Manchester West

On Monday, Hanover faced Manchester West in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Hanover Bears beat the Manchester West Blue Knights by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 46-21. The Bears have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 20 points or more this season.

Hanover pushed their record up to 12-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.7 points over those games. As for Manchester West, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-4.

Hanover wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 54-35 victory against Laconia on the 11th. As for Manchester West, they have also already played their next game, a 59-46 win against Lebanon on the 11th.
