Football Recap: Seven Straight Road Victories for Hudson + How To Watch

Hudson had won seven straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Friday they bumped up to 7-0 to make it eight. They took down the Clinton Redwolves 32-16. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Tigers' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 44th, while the Redwolves are ranked 155th).

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Grayson Bills and Beckett Campbell. Bills gained 105 total yards while Campbell rushed for 94 yards and two scores. That's the most rushing touchdowns Campbell has posted since back in November of 2024.

Hudson was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 204 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Clinton only rushed for 95.

As for Clinton, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 5-2. It was the first time this season that they let down their fans at home.

When it comes to explaining why Clinton lost, don't look at Clifford Jones. Despite the final result, he rushed for 95 yards and one touchdown.
