After a string of seven wins, Linton-Stockton's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Terre Haute South Vigo Braves by a score of 55-53. The Miners were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Braves apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Linton-Stockton's loss ended a 15-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 22-5. As for Terre Haute South Vigo, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-9 record.

Linton-Stockton will venture away from home to challenge Eastern Greene at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Linton-Stockton is facing Eastern Greene at the right time seeing as Eastern Greene is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Terre Haute South Vigo, they will host Bloomington South at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Bloomington South will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Terre Haute South Vigo surely won't give up without a fight.
