William Marolt posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Friday. He struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

Marolt's strong effort led Aspen over Moffat County and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
