Eastern Guilford is 9-1 against Dudley since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Eastern Guilford Wildcats challenge Dudley Panthers at 6:00 p.m. Eastern Guilford's hitters haven't had much luck over their past three contests, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Eastern Guilford came up short against Rockingham County on Friday, falling 19-1.

Meanwhile, Dudley made easy work of Ben L. Smith on Friday and carried off a 17-2 victory. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won five matches by ten runs or more so far this season.

Jayven Baize was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Dudley's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 2-4 when he doesn't). Donovan Locklear was another key player, scoring four runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Dudley now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Eastern Guilford, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-9.

Eastern Guilford beat Dudley 19-16 when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Will Eastern Guilford repeat their success, or does Dudley has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
