Basketball Recap: Douglas Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Douglas lost against Etowah back in February of 2018 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Eagles were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 51-50 to the Blue Devils.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Etowah to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jaxon Thomason, who posted 14 points and seven boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeremy Cole, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and nine rebounds.

Douglas' defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Douglas will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Asbury at 7:30 p.m. As for Etowah, they will head out on the road to square off against New Hope at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
