Baseball Recap: Augusta Southeastern Takes a Loss

Augusta Southeastern lost against Camp Point Central back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Suns came up short against the Panthers, falling 13-6. The Suns have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Augusta Southeastern saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carson Kerr, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run. Griffin Tippey was another, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

Augusta Southeastern's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Camp Point Central, their record now sits at 6-8.

Looking ahead, Augusta Southeastern will square off against Hamilton/Warsaw at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Camp Point Central, they will face off against Seymour at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers are facing the Indians at the right time seeing as the Indians are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
