Baseball Recap: Lewis Comes Up Short

Lewis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They came up short against the Justice Wolves, falling 12-6. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-3 back in April.

K.J Price was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run. Reynaldo Linares was another key player, getting on base in two of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.

Lewis' record now sits at 1-12. As for Justice, they moved to 4-10 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Lewis does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Justice, they will face off against Falls Church at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Wolves' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Jaguars have averaged an impressive 6.4 runs per game this season.
