Recap: College Heights Christian Cougars vs. Jefferson Independent Day Cavaliers
The College Heights Christian Cougars were the 61-31 winner over the Jefferson Independent Day Cavaliers when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. College Heights Christian took a 58-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of Jefferson Independent Day on Tuesday.
It was another big night for Gabbi Hiebert, who scored 28 points along with two steals for Jefferson Independent Day. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hiebert has scored all season. Sarah Mueller was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with five rebounds and three steals.
College Heights Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8-1. As for Jefferson Independent Day, their victory bumped their record up to 12-9.
College Heights Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 54-28 victory vs. McAuley Catholic on the 9th. Jefferson Independent Day has also already played their next contest, a 56-25 victory against Exeter on the 8th.
