Basketball Recap: Colby Chappell's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Windsor Academy over Central Fellowship Christian Academy

Windsor Academy lost against Central Fellowship Christian Academy back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Windsor Academy Knights fell just short of the Central Fellowship Christian Academy Lancers by a score of 68-66. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (62), the Knights still had to take the loss.

Windsor Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Colby Chappell, who went 5 for 8 to rack up 13 points and six boards. Chappell is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Chris Lamar, who went 5 of 6 on his way to 11 points and seven rebounds.

Leading Central Fellowship Christian Academy to victory were Judson Walls and Brayden Emory. Walls posted 22 points, while Emory earned 16 points. The dominant performance gave Walls a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Shaheem Barbosa, who put up 11 points.

Windsor Academy's record is now 11-15. As for Central Fellowship Christian Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season.

Windsor Academy has already played their next game, a 59-50 loss against Mount de Sales Academy on the 8th. Central Fellowship Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
