Softball Recap: Appleton East Comes Up Short

Appleton East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Kaukauna Galloping Ghosts, falling 18-8. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Galloping Ghosts this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-5 back in April.

Appleton East's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Kaukauna, their win bumped their record up to 6-8.

Appleton East has already played their next contest (against Kimberly), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Kaukauna, they have also already played their next game, an 8-7 loss against Fond du Lac on the 8th.
