Softball Recap: Seymour Comes Up Short

Seymour was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Canadian Wildcats, falling 17-0. Having soared to a lofty 34 runs in the game before, the Panthers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Seymour saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was M Kennady, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Seymour's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Canadian, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Canadian beat Seymour by a score of 12-0 later that day.
