Football Recap: Garrett Morgan Comes Up Short

Garrett Morgan had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were beaten by the Berkshire Badgers 37-6 on Friday.

A big part of Berkshire's victory came down to the chemistry between Addison Jones and her top target Mary Lee. Jones threw for 154 yards and four touchdowns while Lee picked up 85 receiving yards and a pair of scores. Jones has been hot recently, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last three times she's played. Caitlyn Rucinski got in on the action as well, converting a pick into a touchdown.

The win keeps Berkshire at an undefeated 4-0.

Garrett Morgan does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Berkshire, they have already played their next matchup, a 30-0 victory against John Marshall on the 11th.
