Softball Recap: South Lewis Takes a Loss

After soaring to 11 runs the game before, South Lewis was a bit more limited in their contest on Monday. They came up short against the South Jefferson Spartans, falling 25-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Falcons in their meetings with the Spartans: they've now lost five in a row.

South Lewis' loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for South Jefferson, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-3.

South Lewis does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South Jefferson, they will venture away from home to square off against Sandy Creek at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Comets' pitching crew has only allowed two runs per game this season, so the Spartans' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
