Berwyn/Cicero Morton saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nathan Rubio, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Oak Park-River Forest had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came out on top against the Hilltoppers by a score of 7-4.

Berwyn/Cicero Morton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Oak Park-River Forest, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
