Greencastle-Antrim gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the West Perry Mustangs as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Blue Devils have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Mustangs, too.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Greencastle-Antrim took every set by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-11, 25-13.

Abigail Eagler paced Greencastle-Antrim's offense, picking up 14 kills. Eagler were helped by Kylie Kerns and Kaitlyn Alvey, who contributed 18 assists each. Kerns and Eagler didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with four apiece.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Greencastle-Antrim is set to face off against their familiar foe Shippensburg at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, West Perry will take on rival Big Spring at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.
