Coppell has gone 9-1 against Marcus recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Coppell Cowboys will host the Marcus Marauders at 6:15 p.m.

On Tuesday, Coppell ended up a good deal behind Flower Mound and lost 53-35. While losing is never fun, the Cowboys can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 102nd, while the Jaguars are ranked 14th).

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Marcus, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They pulled ahead with a 41-40 photo finish over Little Elm on Tuesday.

Marcus now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Coppell, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-13.

Coppell strolled past Marcus when the teams last played back in January of 2024 by a score of 59-45. Does Coppell have another victory up their sleeve, or will Marcus turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
