Volleyball Recap: Lemoore Makes It Six in a Row on the Road

Lemoore had won six straight on the road, but on Tuesday they bumped up to 28-4 to make it seven. They blew past the Tulare Western Mustangs 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on October 1st.

Jade Lewis paced Lemoore's offense, picking up 17 kills. Lewis got some help from Hailey Ferreira and her 25 assists. Ferreira was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

As for Tulare Western, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-19 record this season. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat they have suffered since October 1st.

Tulare Western lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Belinda Sanchez, who had ten digs and three assists.

Lemoore didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Hanford on the 23rd. As for Tulare Western, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Tulare Union on the 23rd.
