It was a good run, but Belt unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-match winning streak on Saturday. They lost 3-0 to the Jefferson Panthers. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Huskies have suffered since September 7, 2024.

Belt was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Jefferson work for it, especially in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-14, 26-24.

Belt's loss dropped their record down to 11-3. As for Jefferson, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Panthers beat Belt by a score of 3-0 later that day.
