Lincoln Prep waltzed into their match on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Sterlington Panthers 67-46. Lincoln Prep has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 21 points or more this season.

When it comes to explaining why Sterlington lost, don't look at Cooper Nelson. Despite the final result, he posted 24 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals. The contest was Nelson's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Crain, who went 5 for 10 en route to 12 points.

Lincoln Prep's win bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Sterlington, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-11 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lincoln Prep will host Southwood at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Lincoln Prep's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three games. As for Sterlington, they will challenge Carroll at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
