Volleyball Recap: Strongsville Beats Rocky River for Their Third Straight Victory

Strongsville entered their tilt with Rocky River on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Pirates 3-0. The Mustangs were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Pirates, so the Mustangs were just returning the favor.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-15, 25-17.

Payton Beard paced Strongsville's offense, picking up 17 kills. Beard got some help from Gianna Grecol and her 22 assists. Calette Hicks controlled things from the service line, finishing with 12 aces.

Strongsville's victory bumped their record up to 3-0.

Strongsville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-2 win against North Royalton on the 21st. As for Rocky River, they have also already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against North Olmsted on the 21st.
