Soccer Game Preview: Uintah vs. Orem

Uintah hasn't had much luck against Orem recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Utes will take on the Tigers at 5:15 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Uintah took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They never let Summit Academy get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory.

Meanwhile, Orem was able to grind out a solid win over Provo on Monday, taking the game 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Orem.

The victory got Orem back to even at 6-6. As for Uintah, their win bumped their record up to 5-8.

Uintah was able to grind out a solid victory over Orem in their previous meeting back in March, winning 4-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Utes since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
