Volleyball Recap: Cameron Comes Up Short

Cameron was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Chillicothe Hornets, falling 3-0. The Dragons were not able to make up for their defeat to the Hornets from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-10, 25-18.

Addy Earley paced Cameron's offense, picking up eight kills. Earley got some help from Edie Ormsby and her 20 assists. Earley was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Cameron's loss dropped their record down to 4-19. As for Chillicothe, their win was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 18-4.

Cameron has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against East Buchanan on the 4th. Chillicothe has also already played their next matchup (against Trenton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
