Volleyball Recap: Astoria/VIT Comes Up Short

Astoria/VIT lost against Rushville-Industry back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Rebels fell 2-0 to the Rockets. The Rebels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Astoria/VIT was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-23.

Astoria/VIT's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Rushville-Industry, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-12.

Astoria/VIT has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Riverton on the 11th. As for Rushville-Industry, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Midwest Central on the 11th.
