Highland is on a three-game streak of home wins, while Munster is on a five-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Trojans will host the Mustangs at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Highland is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 11.9 runs per game this season.

Highland is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Andrean just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 13-3 to the Fighting 59ers.

Jordan Boyd and Hailey Thomas stepped up to the plate in a big way. Boyd went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one run, while Thomas went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one run. That stolen base marked the first that Thomas has snagged this season.

Meanwhile, Munster gave up the first runs on Tuesday, but they didn't let that get them down. They came out on top against Hobart by a score of 9-6. The game was the first time the Mustangs have beaten the Brickies on their field since May 9, 2022.

Munster is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season. As for Highland, their loss dropped their record down to 7-3.

Highland might still be hurting after the 14-1 defeat they got from Munster when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Can the Trojans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
