Baseball Recap: Serena Find Success

Serena won the last time they faced Indian Creek and things went their way on Monday too. The Huskers came out on top against the Timberwolves by a score of 6-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Huskers.

Payton Twait was excellent, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base. Serena is 2-1 when Twait posts two or more runs, but 2-9 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Beau Raikes, who went 1-for-4 with one triple and one run.

Serena's record is now 4-10. As for Indian Creek, they are on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-14.

Serena will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Timberwolves: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
