Volleyball Recap: Valley Christian Beats Leigh for Their Third Straight Victory

Valley Christian had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Leigh Longhorns.

Valley Christian had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 25-27, 25-16, 25-16, 25-17.

Valley Christian now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Leigh, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Valley Christian will venture away from home to challenge Archbishop Mitty at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Monarchs will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Warriors surely won't give up without a fight. As for Leigh, they will head out on the road to square off against Independence at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
