Volleyball Recap: Skagway Panthers vs. Wrangell Wolves
Skagway kicked off their season on the road on Saturday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wrangell Wolves. The Panthers just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row dating back to last season.
The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-12.
Kayla Young was the offensive standout of the match as she had six digs and four aces. That's the most aces she has posted in her last 14 contests.
The victory (which was Wrangell's eighth in a row) raised their record to 9-4-1.
As of now, neither Skagway nor Wrangell have any future games scheduled.
