Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Alpine). They blew past the Big Spring Steers 12-2 on Friday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Bucks with their most commanding win of the season.

Kody Hawkins made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 11 batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. Those 11 strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs.
