Basketball Recap: Nueces Canyon Takes a Loss

After soaring to 55 points the game before, Nueces Canyon was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They took a blow against the Iraan Braves, falling 80-22.

Nueces Canyon has been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 13 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-18 record this season. As for Iraan, with the victory, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-10.

Nueces Canyon wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 57-45 defeat against Knippa on the 14th. As for Iraan, they will face off against Wink at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Iraan knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Wink likes a good challenge.
