Softball Recap: Westwood Cardinals vs. Lyndhurst Golden Bears

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Westwood ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They won by a run and slipped past the Lyndhurst Golden Bears 4-3. That's two games straight that the Cardinals have won by just one run.

Westwood got a great performance from Ella Ianni as she struck out nine batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. Ianni has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
