Softball Recap: Fluvanna County Beats Goochland for Their Third Straight Win

While Fluvanna County's victory against Goochland wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Flying Flucos won by a run and slipped past the Bulldogs 4-3. The win was familiar territory for the Flying Flucos, who have now won three matches in a row.

Fluvanna County pushed their record up to 13-5 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Goochland, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-8.

The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Flying Flucos 3.6, the Mustangs 1.3) so any runs scored will be well earned.
