Baseball Recap: Florala Wins Going Away Against Pleasant Home

Florala got themselves on the board against Pleasant Home on Tuesday, but Pleasant Home never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over the Eagles. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won nine contests by 13 runs or more so far this season.

Easton Walsh made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 13 over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in May of 2024. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with two RBI.

In other batting news, Ayden Brooks was incredible, going 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. That's the most hits he has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Rayshon Coleman, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-4.

Florala hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Pleasant Home struck out 13 times.

Florala's victory bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Pleasant Home, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.

Florala will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Eagles: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
