Cleveland Central Catholic's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Morgan Crawford, who went 6 of 12 on her way to 20 points and five boards. That makes it three consecutive games in which Crawford has scored at least a third of Cleveland Central Catholic's points. Imani Dotson was another key player, putting up 22 points.

Cuyahoga Heights' record now sits at 5-14. As for Cleveland Central Catholic, the win snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 7-11 record.

Cuyahoga Heights and Cleveland Central Catholic could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. Cuyahoga Heights (ranked 697th) will meet Trinity (ranked 177th) at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Similarly, Cleveland Central Catholic will challenge John F. Kennedy Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Monday down 428 places (549 vs. 121).
