Softball Game Preview: Blevins Hornets vs. Cutter-Morning Star Eagles

Blevins is 0-3 against Cutter-Morning Star since March of 2023 but things could change on Monday. Blevins will venture away from home to square off against Cutter-Morning Star at 4:30 p.m. Blevins will be strutting in after a victory while Cutter-Morning Star will be coming in after a defeat.

Blevins made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Lafayette County, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Blevins put the hurt on Lafayette County with a sharp 17-5 win last Monday.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 12 runs the game before, Cutter-Morning Star was a bit more limited in their match on Friday. They came up short against Lake Hamilton, falling 11-1. The contest marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Cutter-Morning Star fell to 6-1. As for Blevins, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Blevins might still be hurting after the 11-1 loss they got from Cutter-Morning Star in their previous matchup on March 3rd. Can Blevins avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
