While Frankfort's win against Clinton Prairie wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Hot Dogs won by a run and slipped past the Gophers 2-1. The victory continues a trend for the Hot Dogs in their matchups with the Gophers: they've now won five in a row.

Frankfort's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Matthew Berry, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Frankfort now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Clinton Prairie, their loss was their first of the season and also makes their record 2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Frankfort will take on Lebanon at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Hot Dogs are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Clinton Prairie, they will square off against Benton Central at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
