Volleyball Recap: Weber Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Weber can now relate to. They fell 3-1 to the Herriman Mustangs on Wednesday. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mustangs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Sophie Sparrow paced Weber's offense, picking up 11 kills. Sparrow got some help from Scarlett Smith and her 17 assists. Sparrow was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Weber's defeat dropped their record down to 18-11. As for Herriman, the victory snapped their losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 18-10 record.

Weber didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Westlake on the 29th. As for Herriman, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Skyridge on the 29th.
