Softball Recap: Monroe Academy Find Success

While Monroe Academy's win against Snook Christian Academy wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Monroe Academy Volunteers' pitcher stepped up to hand the Snook Christian Academy Eagles a 1-0 shutout on Friday. The Volunteers haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Ella Grace Stabler was excellent, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-2. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in February of 2024.

Monroe Academy's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Snook Christian Academy, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Coming up, Monroe Academy will face off against Ezekiel Academy at 11:45 a.m. on Saturday. As for Snook Christian Academy, they will take on South Choctaw Academy in a tournament on Friday.
