Basketball Recap: Glenrock Victorious

You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for Glenrock on Saturday. They walked away with a 43-34 victory over the Rocky Mountain Grizzlies. For the Herders, this counts as revenge for the 49-44 win the Grizzlies walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.

When it comes to explaining why Rocky Mountain lost, don't look at Lauren Bassett. Despite the final result, she posted 15 points along with eight boards and four steals. Bassett is crushing it when it comes to points: she's scored at least 15 every time she's taken the court this season. Keylee Christiansen was another key player, putting up four points.

Glenrock now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Rocky Mountain, their loss was their first of the season and also makes their record 2-1.

Glenrock wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 38-32 victory against Greybull on the 14th. As for Rocky Mountain, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 64-21 win against Kaycee on the 14th.
