Football Recap: Green Tech Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Glens Falls, Green Tech was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 20-17 victory over the Mohonasen Warriors. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Eagles' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' New York football rankings (they are ranked 149th, while the Warriors are ranked 348th).

Tahriek Inman had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 173 yards and three scores. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in September.

Inman was just one part of a punishing run game: Green Tech was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 264 rushing yards. The Eagles are a perfect 4-0 when they've run for more than 200 yards.

Green Tech's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Mohonasen, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Green Tech nor Mohonasen have any future games scheduled.
