Rivercrest is a perfect 8-0 against Hoxie since March of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Colts will host the Mustangs at 4:30 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.

Rivercrest's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over West Memphis Christian. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Colts considering their one-run performance the contest before.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hoxie). Everything went their way against Osceola on Tuesday as they made off with a 17-2 win. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Mustangs as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.

Hoxie let Dalton Neely and Colby Bullard run wild. Neely scored four runs and stole three bases while going 1-for-3, while Bullard scored three runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-2. That's the most stolen bases Bullard has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Hayden McIntire, who scored three runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Hoxie always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .645. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Rivercrest has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-11 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.6 runs over those games. As for Hoxie, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-9 and their overall record up to 5-11.

Everything went Rivercrest's way against Hoxie in their previous meeting last Wednesday, as Rivercrest made off with a 13-0 win. Do the Colts have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Mustangs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
