Soccer Recap: North Takes a Loss

North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Centennial Golden Hawks, falling 11-0. The Stars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Golden Hawks apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.

North's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Centennial, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-5-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Arvin at 6:00 p.m. on January 8, 2025. As for Centennial, they will face off against Clovis West at 1:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025.
