Orange County won the last time they faced Albemarle and things went their way on Thursday too. The Fighting Hornets never let the Patriots get on the board and left with a 9-0 victory. Considering the Fighting Hornets have won six matches by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Orange County is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Albemarle, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-9.
