Volleyball Recap: Mia Nasca and Lyla Dyring Secure Win for Hornell

Hornell waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against Palmyra-Macedon as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-11, 25-16.

Hornell was led to victory by Lyla Dyring and Mia Nasca. Dyring had 14 digs and two aces, while Nasca had 19 digs and three assists. That's the most digs Dyring has posted over her last six contests.

Hornell's win bumped their record up to 12-4. As for Palmyra-Macedon, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.

As of now, neither Hornell nor Palmyra-Macedon have any future games scheduled.
