Baseball Recap: Waterloo Takes a Loss

Waterloo lost against Rootstown back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Vikings came up short against the Rovers, falling 8-1. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Waterloo's loss dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Rootstown, their victory bumped their record up to 14-9.

Looking ahead, Rootstown will challenge Rhodes at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Waterloo will be paying especially close attention to the Rovers' match: after the Rovers face off against the Rams, they'll take on Waterloo again at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
