Central is 9-1 against Hernando since January of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Central Bears will square off against the Hernando Leopards at 6:00 p.m.

Central is likely headed into the match with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Springstead on Tuesday. Central received a blow as they fell 48-34 to Springstead. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Hernando, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They took down Hudson 64-49 on Wednesday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Leopards considering their 29-point performance the contest before.

Hernando is also on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.4 points per game. As for Central, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-7.

Central came up short against Hernando in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, falling 53-49. Can Central avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
