Basketball Game Preview: Duluth Wildcats vs. Parkview Panthers

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Duluth Wildcats take on the Parkview Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday... Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Duluth will bounce into Tuesday's match after beating Norcross, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. Duluth walked away with a 60-48 win over Norcross on Thursday. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Wildcats' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 136th, while the Blue Devils are ranked 18th).

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Parkview, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top against North Gwinnett by a score of 53-45 on Thursday.

Duluth has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season. As for Parkview, their win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 3-15.

Everything came up roses for Duluth against Parkview in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, as the squad secured a 74-40 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Duluth since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
