Soccer Recap: Lake Weir Takes a Loss

Lake Weir's game on Wednesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the South Sumter Raiders an easy 3-0 win. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hurricanes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 two weeks ago.

Lake Weir's loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-10. As for South Sumter, their victory bumped their record up to 4-6-5.

Lake Weir will head out on the road to take on Dunnellon at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lake Weir is facing Dunnellon at the right time seeing as Dunnellon is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for South Sumter, they will be home for the holidays to greet Central at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
