Basketball Recap: Wakefield School Takes a Loss

Wakefield School was the 71-62 winner over Tandem Friends when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Wakefield School Fighting Owls took a 58-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tandem Friends Badgers on Tuesday.

Tandem Friends got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Sean Tyler out in front who posted 17 points. Zaquis Timberlake was another key player, putting up 15 points.

Wakefield School's defeat dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Tandem Friends, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season.

Looking ahead, Wakefield School won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against George C. Marshall at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. George C. Marshall will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Wakefield School surely won't give up without a fight. Tandem Friends does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
